This variety is easy to grow and thrives in raised beds and containers as well as in  ground gardens.  It is easy to harvest this variety for many weeks in both the spring and fall planting seasons.

PLANTING/ HARVESTING INSTRUCTIONS:

A delicious leaf that can be planted in early spring and also late summer for fall harvest. For ongoing harvest, cut the outer leaves right above the base of the plant, let new leaves grow and harvest as leaves reach 3-6 inches long and leave 1/3 of the plant to continue growing. To harvest the full head, wait until it reaches maturity, then harvest from the base. 40-50 days to harvest.
